Ski School

The Norefjell ski school has skilled ski instructors who work hard to spread the love of skiing and make you a better skier. Nothing is more fun for a ski instructor than to see how much progress can be made and enjoyment created with some well-chosen advice and simple training in technique.

The Norefjell ski school offers both private lessons and courses in alpine skiing as well as private lessons in cross-country skiing, snowboarding and Telemark skiing – for both children and adults.

The ski school has three meeting points: at Skistua, at Norefjell Ski & Spa on Bøseter or at the lift house for Olaheisen near Norefri.

Private lessons (PL) 2019/2020

Book a private lesson – for yourself or for the whole family. Your instructor will work with you to adapt your lesson to your ambitions. All you need is a desire to improve, and we’ll help you with the rest.

If you book a private lesson, you get your own professional instructor. We have instructors who can instruct you regardless of your skiing abilities. The ski school uses three meeting points. Bøeseter at Norefjell Ski & Spa hotel, Skistua, and at the Olaheisen lift in Norefri. 



Skiing is a fun activity that is great to learn in a group setting. For children, play is an important part of learning, and making new friends is an important part of their holiday.

NB: Ordinary group courses require a minimum of three participants. If there are only two participants, we offer 45 minutes per day, and if only one person has registered for the course, we offer a discounted alternative.


Not sure what course to sign up for?

  • The beginners’ course is for skiers who are not yet able to take the lift or stop on their own. This course requires no prior knowledge.
  • The intermediate course is for skiers who can slow down and make controlled turns down green trails and take the surface lift alone.
  • The advanced course is for skiers who can take the lift without assistance and ski down blue and red trails in a controlled manne

For courses that last for several days, the course days are consecutive.
